Other than Nextel or Boost, its a 3rd party add on feature. Go to an Internet site for companies like Tom Tom, Landnav, Gremlin, Disney or Map 2 it. Subscribe for their service, it will show up as a 3rd party bill on your cell phone. Download the needed files to you phone. Make sure you have Internet service on your phone. Once your set up, its as simple as going to the Internet from your phone, typing in the phone digit of the GPS equipped phone you want to locate. The system will triangulate that facts position, and show it on a map for you on your phone.

a gps is one way .
anyone with a phone can be located even without a gps but unless you are with the government you cant

Phones don’t have GPS, but there are other techniques used that ate not so accurate. Most network operators provide house based services, but the title-holder of the phone has to opt in. For obvious reasons, you are not allowed to obtain the house of cell phones in general.
