best cingular prepaid cell phone to use in area with poor reception?

I live in WV were cell phone usuage is limited. I have cingular prepaid. (Works best for us). What cingular phone gets the best reception in remote areas??

Answer by Betty
Nokias tend to get superior reception

First of all, never go with a phone that has an internal antenna (ie. Motorola C-139). LG’s typically suck for signal reception. I would say your best bet would be a Nokia.

I live in a very small kentucky town everywhere the cell phones are none excistent, but I got a LG and it gets pretty excellent signal, in most a skin condition, but it does have a weak signal in some a skin condition.

best cell phone reception

I’m heading out of town ahead of schedule tomorrow to decompress for a few days. Internet access will be nonexistent; cell phone reception, as I retract, is spotty at best. I plot to spend a lot of time sitting on the beach and playing Beatles songs on a ukulele.

If I can post daily pictures from the phone, I’ll do that; if not, I’ll save up the self-portraits and post them when I get back.
