what is the law in OKLA for minor fender benders on private property?

i back into an auto while on confidential property (at work parking lot). Hurt was very minimal. We exchanged ins info but filed no report. The driver was on her cell phone the entire time gathering ins info from her mother who owned the car. I am not even certain if she is a covered driver on that vehicle but they questioned me to pay a small under $ 500 hurt to their car. What are my obligations?

You are obligated to pay for the hurts to the car that you backed in to. You can either file a report with your insurance company and let them pay, or you can pay for it out of your own pocket. Given the low quantity of hurt, it might be a excellent thought to pay for it yourself and avoid having your insurance rates go up.

The fact that it happened on confidential property is not a factor. Nor is the other driver’s status on the insurance policy of the other vehicle. If the other driver does not live in the title-holder’s home she may not be a named driver on the policy. This does not affect the insurance coverage on their car, though. As long as the vehicle’s title-holder gave the driver permission to use the car, the insurance is in full force.

If the other vehicle’s title-holder has not filed with their own insurance company yet, they are really doing you a favor since this will allow you to pay for the hurt without your insurance company getting involved which would liable produce your rates to go up. If you don’t pay them quickly, they’ll file with their insurance company. Your insurance company will pay for the hurt and then your rates will go up.

Really, you are still liable for the hurt that YOU caused even if the other vehicle wasn’t insured at all.

The huge joke for Carolyn & me was that we really managed to wrap the oversized present to my mom.

It was wrapped first with clear plastic left over from the replacement fender for when my car was totaled, then with brown paper from a used dropcloth left over from when we stained our wood, post addition. A box was used for the bottom, and a paper bag for the very stop. It’s a fantastic example of how not throwing away helpful stuff ends up helping you out in the future in the weirdest situations.

Jamming over my band Amalgama’s “A encruzilhada”. I’ve had my PodXT for nearly 4 being and recently learned how cool is its emulation of the Vox AC30 + Top Boost. At full amp gain, just by turning my guitar’s volume knob I can go from a bright clean signal, to a “fuzzy” lead, and then to Fender-style crunchy. Clean tone sounds a small too bright sometimes because this guitar has a ‘treble bleed” installed. This amp sim works better on guitars without this circuit. I’m by the XT’s virtual cabinet #15 (Line6 4×10″), effectively mic’ed by a centered SM 57. This AIR setting seems to deliver the best clarity among all models. In fact, It’s transparent enough to be used in front of a real guitar amp and still signal excellent when going straight to the mixing board. About the Tribute, it’s a 2003 asian-made G&L, the company Leo Fender started after promotion Fender. It’s one of the best-sounding guitars I’ve ever played.
