Do I get charged extra on my cell phone for using an international phone card?

I brought those phone cards, the prepaid ones where you have the pin and acess numbers.
If i use my cell phone to call, would the company charge me extra? Or would it just use the regular minutes i have on my phone plan?

Just regular minutes. I am using http://phonecards.comli.com and I just make local calls to connect to phone card and then dial my international number. They appear as local calls in my bill.

I want to call my husband on his Iraqi cell phone but I want to know if there is a long distance company out there that will offer a billing option of unlimited international calling for one set fee a month. It doesn’t matter how much, but I know Bell South does not. I’m tired of paying by the minute. It’s too costly and phone cards are just another waste of money.

I find that international calling cards found at the super markets are very cheap and reliable (some of them). I get a hold of all my friends like this. I also heard of voice chatting over the Internet yahoo provides it you should give it a try. Good luck.

There is no real company that can offer such a great price. I have found that internet phone calling is very cheap.
