My parents want to get me a cell phone in which I can do typing homework right on the phone. Is there any phone that will let me do that and just let me connect the phone right to my computer to transfer the file. If so, can you tell me th phone mode. (it has to be T-Mobile and try to keep in under $ 150 dollars)

Well, for $ 150, options are limited. If you buy a phone with a new contract, then you the T-Mobile SDA ($ 150) is doubtless your best answer.

It does not come with a Word editor built in, but you can download a .txt editor for free from numerous 3rd party developers (go to www.handango.com and search for text editor and list by buck to highest price. I recommend Vieka.)

An added benefit is the WIFI on board the phone (as long as you’re connected to a source, data usage is free), which will allow you to surf the web. I’m not sure if it’s supported, but you could also use googledocs if you’re in a WIFI spot.

If you want a QWERTY-keyboard, you could look at the Sidekick ($ 100), although it has less features and you’d be hardpressed to find any 3rd party apps for it.
