Broken cell phone makes me sad. Even if it does look like some ancient crappy cell phone.

Drawbacks to cell phone only? Advantages? Do you plot on continuing phone service with only cellular? Would you recommend charitable up a land phone to use only a cellular? One reason I shy away from it is that I never can find my cellular when I want it, or can’t get to it in time. Another reason is that I tend to let the battery go down accidentally. Is this a conundrum with you, too?

well. i live in a family of five, the youngest is 14. and we all have cell phones. no one was by the home phone, and we rarely gave out the home phone digit. so at that point it was just pointless for us to pay the monthly bill. so we just cancelled it.
for the first month, i would leave me cell phone seats and my friends couldnt just call the home phone as a back up, so they got irritated. but- now its a habit to just come home and place it on the charger and let it stay there. that way its just like a “home phone.”
if everyone that lives with you has a cell phone, there is no point in paying a monthly bill for something you never use.
its better just to save the money and learn how to keep up with your phone.
