Q&A: Which mobile is good for music lovers and also has a good camera?

Am plotting on buying a mobile and am suggested Nokia 95, which according to some is not excellent. Want to have a honest opinion from present users or if there is something which is really excellent for music and camera. and also with wifi connection.

Answer by Tony
LG Env3 or LG EnvTouch. They have a 3 megapixel camera and has access to music.

A nokia would be a excellent choice and the 95 does have excellent internet and music capabilities but if you’re looking for an better camera a top-rated and may still be the best nokia N82 has a very excellent camera. There was a better nokia, that was said to have gone on the market with a better than digital quality camera built in. You can search for it because I kind of forgot what it was called.
Hope I helped

Sony Ericsson C902, C905 Have 5mp/8mp Camera’s And Have Excellent Quality Sound And Are Loud Enough. Samsung Souls Were Excellent For What Your After But Now They Have Kinda’ You Know Gone A Bit Less Well loved And A Bit Dead :P . But Also Nokia N95′ 8GB’s Are Brilliant For Wifi Internet Surfing, Memory, Loudness, Sound Quality, Apps, Gaming, Picture Quality And Camera Quality, But May maybe Be Replaced With An N96

I prefer Sony ericsson w580 which has very apparent sound. Using it for more than 2 years. Still with same best sound. ear phones works fantastic. But camera is pretty normal. better go for high end walkman phone on sony ericsson. w705. loaded with all features even with wifi and 3G

I am going to rent this place, and the light switches and plug-ins need replaced. Can I just buy these from lowe’s or will I need to go to a mobile home supply store?

Answer by mark-ashcraft@sbcglobal.net
i would replace them with plastic wall and switch boxes and use standard outlets and switches the ones that are in there now are so cheep I would not trust nor would I sleep in one unless i did above

Yes, standard switches and outlets will work. If you want to save a small money buy the 10 pack boxes. They sell for about $ 6.00 for a box. Otherwise the “top shelf” outlets go for about $ 5.00 each, and you can really find $ 40.00 light switches. GFI outlets are considerably more expensive than standard, but make sure that any exterior outlet is GFI and any interior outlet within 2′ of running water is GFI as well.

Yes they will work I had to replace reasonably a few in my 99 mobile.A word of advice don’t use the push in connectors glue the wires to the screws on the side.Every electrical conundrum I had was caused by a stoppage in the push in connector contact.

This really depends on whether the switches and outlets are self-controlled, or box mounted. Some manufacturers use boxes, some don’t. If youve got the type without a box, then you will any have to buy the same type, or install a box to use standard outlets. Also – the cover plates are different. A self controlled outlet or switch will use a snap on cover, as different to one that is open with screws with standard outlets.

The self controlled outlets have a “wing tab” on them which grips the rear of the sheetrock. You can hold outlet boxes with the same kind of tab. The benefit to these, is that you do not have to mount the box to a stud… it holds itself in place by pinching the wall, therefore you have a small more freedom in placement.

Look at an existing switch…. if it has the mounting screws at top and bottom center, then you can use standard switches. BUT, if you see 2 screws at opposite corners of the switch…then youve got the wing tab type, or ‘self controlled’. Same goes for the outlets.

You can get new outlets and switches of this type at mobile home suppliers, or even through dealerships (they can order them from the manufacturer for you)

Oh, by the way…. the normal wire pattern for most mobile homes… the power lines are run around the walls, usually about the height of the outlets.. and then UP to switches and ceiling fixtures. Its not too uncommon to see a switch with a couple of wires coming in from bottom it, and another out the top. One of the wires coming up from bottom will be the power supply, the additional will be a sprinter to an outlet. The one going out the top will goto a ceiling fixture.

One more item… the ‘self controlled’ outlets and switches – with the wing tabs… have a removable back. Typically, the wire is run thru the front casing of the receptacle or switch, the wires are pressed into the proper slots, and the back is inserted. IF you switch to standard outlets…. you will need to cut some of these wires, in order to mount them to the side screws. ( I agree with another person who answered on here, don’t use the push slots, Ive pulled too many outlets out of walls where the wire wasnt inserted properly, and any popped out, or was already out) So — If you need to cut some of these wires.. make sure you have plenty of play in the wire where you cut it. A lot of manufacturers will anchor the wires in place with wire staples.
:) dont forget to shut off the power before working on any of these :)

Have Fun
