Why does this college professor still have a job, he's aiding and abetting illegal immigration?

An activist Chicano professor at a taxpayer-funded university has created special technology to help Mexicans enter the United States illegally by mapping the safest routes through the notoriously rigorous southern border desert.

The innovative Transborder Immigrant Tool is a simple mobile application—inserted into the cheapest available cell phone on the market—which guides illegal aliens through the least dangerous routes, areas with shelter, food, water and so-called Quaker help centers that provide medical attention and directions to the nearest major U.S. highway.

The Transborder Immigrant Tool is simply the latest of several devices created by members of a technologically sophisticated, pro illegal immigration group (Mexico/U.S. Border Disturbance Art Project) that aims to help Mexican migrants evade the U.S. Border Patrol. The new mobile program is touted as an "intelligent agent algorithm" that parses out the best routes and trails on a particular day and hour so that Mexicans can cross the "vertiginous landscape" as safely as possible.

It was created because hundreds of would-be illegal immigrants have died crossing the U.S./Mexico border because they got lost in the treacherous terrain. The virtual geography application will mark new trails and secure routes that will facilitate illegal aliens in reaching their U.S. destination unscathed, according to Mexico/U.S. Border Disturbance Art Project officials.

The rebel group is headed by a visual arts professor (Ricardo Dominguez) at the University of California San Diego, a major public institution not far from the Mexican border. His university biography boasts that he earned scrutiny from the National Security Agency for creating a program that allows activists to slow any web site to a halt by flooding it with requests (known as a virtual sit-in).

In the past Mexico's government has provided its nationals with valuable tools to help them cross the border safely but this marks the first time an American resident, whose salary is provided by U.S. taxpayers, openly promotes such a gadget. A few years ago Mexican officials published a 32-page booklet (Guia Del Migrante Mexicano) with safety tips for border crossers and distributed hand-held satellite devices to ensure the violators complete their journey safely.

Answer by Hi there
It would be better than having them lost and dying. Keep in mind that they usually have children with them.

Maybe we need to use his GPS to set up check points, but that would be deem illegal to those who want and abet the open borders group. I do not want anyone to die while they cross illegally, but the onus is on them for illegally crossing. They are the ones bringing their children and risking both their life’s as well as their children.

Too much to read really
fact is many so-called ‘illegals” are already here.
Except we’re immigrants also. We live on stolen land and always have.
Just take care of your own. and never mind that this mexican did this crime or that crime, because we have enough United Stater civilians who have done the same or worse,

You know what gets me about this-
Everyone is up in arms about illegals dying in the desert.
They decide to cross a desert- what do ya think is going to happen.
What do they think is waiting for them there- a water fountain a burito?
Duh!!!!!! No wonder folks want to seal the borders, we don’t need anymore budding geniuses in our midst. rofl lmao

In the wilderness you have a responsibility to be prepared!!!!

Ask anybody that spends anytime at all in the wilds of America-
I’m pretty sure they have untamed areas in Mexico too- I’d say just guessing the same rules to roughing it in Mexico apply in America.

As an American who enjoys the wilderness every weekend, if I get stuck somewhere because I’m not prepared it is my fault- I may even be charged for my rescue in fact more than likely I will be charged for my rescue.
Maybe if i was an illegal they would pass the bill onto the taxpayer instead.

my question is have you notified the authorities about this and if not why not. when they head out through the desert they have made a decision to break our law. i don’t want them to die but it’s their decision. maybe reporting it might save some lives. whoever thinks that it is ok is talking through their hat.

LAKE ELSINORE —- A Border Patrol raid this week on a downtown street scattered immigrant workers and apparently resulted in the detention of at least a couple of suspected illegal immigrants, witnesses said.

The owners of a cell phone shop on Graham Street between Spring and Main streets captured video of a U.S. Border Patrol officer chasing a man into their store at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday and capturing him. The manager of a nearby supermarket catering to Latinos said a Border Patrol officer entered that store about 10:15 a.m. that day and detained a man.

The raid apparently targeted a cluster of workers, mostly from Guatemala and Mexico, most of whom authorities presume to be in the country illegally. The workers gather daily on Spring between Graham and Franklin streets near Ibarra’s Market while waiting to be hired for odd jobs.

Calls made Wednesday afternoon to the U.S. Border Patrol were referred to the service’s public information office in San Diego, but the office had shut down in advance of New Year’s Eve. Referrals to media representatives were only available for major incidents, officials said.

Based on a description of the Lake Elsinore incident, a Border Patrol official said it appeared to be routine enforcement activity. Wednesday’s arrests came about four months after a group of activists staged protests downtown and at a City Council meeting against stepped-up Border Patrol enforcement, which they contended was provoking widespread fear among Latino immigrants and breaking up families.

Some accused the city of arranging the raids. While city officials denied that was the case, City Councilman Daryl Hickman, who was mayor at the time, said he had contacted U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Vista, in seeking to move immmigrant workers hanging out on Main away from there so they wouldn’t discourage visitors from entering businesses.

While some merchants in the area said immigration enforcement has remained a constant, others said it had died down in recent weeks after the raids in the summer had reduced the number of workers congregating.

May it continue only in greater numbers!

The poster Biggie Smalls says it all with his name lmfao!!!

Answer by Mad Kat
more raids the better. I like to hear where they have raided and deported hundreds of these criminals at a time.

Answer by teflondon1974
If they don’t have the proper documentation to be in this country, they don’t need to be here. If they really want to enjoy the freedom the U.S. has to offer, they will go though the proper channels for the right documentation

I think it’s great and hope to see many, many more.

Answer by sasori
Border Patrol go to places illegals hang out, the same as police are more prominent in areas where there is a high level of crime. It wouldn’t make any sense to hang out where there are no illegals or criminals now would it. Then they wouldn’t be doing their jobs.
