What phones besides the Iphone use downloadable applications?

I am looking for a phone that I download applications for like the Iphone (needs to be at&t). Can anybody recommend some phones that have this functionality, and do you have to pay for the applications. Thanks.

Aside from the iPhone, WinMobile phones have free and fee based applications if you search the internet for them. Symbian phones also but ATT only has one phone with that OS, the Nokia 6650.

My phone never rings. No one ever calls me. I’m unsocial and communicate though text messages. But last night I kept getting woken up by it ringing. THIS IS NOT COOL! As some of you know, you never wake me up or I turn into a grumpy bitch. So I’ve been a bitch all day. At 6AM I put the phone in airplane mode so I didn’t have to listen to it anymore and could still use it as my alarm clock.

Verizon is expensive. I got a palm centro. It sucks. No one told me that i would have extra fees for having a PDA. So now instead of my phone bill being $ 90 its $ 190. I want to change phones but can only get another one for full retail price. Where can i buy a phone that will work with Verizon? A reliable website perhaps? Or a store other than Verizon?
