How can I have the calls from my old cell phone forwarded to my new one?

I just recently got a new cell phone, with a new number, how can I set it up to where if anyone calls my previous cell #, it can forward straight to my new phone number? Reason is I have job applications out there with the old number.. anyway I can fix this online at Alltell.com, that’s my new service provider.

contact your service provider and see if this is a service they provide or change the voicemall on your old phone and tell them to call you at the new number

I have had a bad history with cell phones, every one that I have owned has broken in some way. I now have my dads friends old phone, which is a peice of crap. I am trying to buy a new phone on ebay for $ 150, and my dad doesnt understand why I want a new phone. I have to write an essay on why I should get a new phone and can anyone give me some reasons? Thanks.

I think this question should be under homework help lol write a essay! I think if you break phone’s or whatever happens you should not buy a new one cause just waste of money unless you start taking good care of it.

if you can’t think of any reasons of why you should get a new phone then why do you want a new phone other than the fact your dad’s is probably ugly? The only thing cell phones are for is calling and texting, so if your dad’s phone does both then the upgrade is merely cosmetic and no parent will buy a new phone for that reason

The one you have doesn’t come with all of the things you need, for instance a large enough memory to support all of your phone numbers or a camera (which actually comes in handy, you don’t realize how much they do until you don’t have one).

How about the one you have is beat up, the screen is scratched to an amount that it causes you problems with reading it.

Or you don’t like the company that services the phone itself. Maybe the bill is too high for instance?

Something on your old phone doesn’t work or the battery dies way too fast for the things you need it to do. For instance if you are out of your house from 6am to 11pm and your phone dies around 9pm, you would need a better phone with a better battery.

At least you have a cell phone, some kids don’t ever get one until they can pay for it and the bill themselves. But I can understand that you’re probably sick of having an old phone all the time when your friends probably all have like the newest crap. I went through the same thing throughout highschool but I was just glad to have a cell period because at least I could keep in touch with friends. You miss out on a lot of stuff when your friends all plan to go somewhere last minute and they can’t get a hold of you, bleh, I hated it. It’s really cool of you to actually spend the time to research this and give your dad a legit essay.

Anyway, these were just some problems I’m actually having with my current cell, lol. I’m looking into getting a new one now as well.
