Can I overcharge the batteries on my Garmin Nuvi 200w GPS?
I just got a GPS for my birthday and the charging slot matches the same slot of my cell phone. So my wall charger for my cell phone can fit into my GPS. Is this safe to do? Will it overcharge my GPS? The cell phone charger is the first packaged with a Motorola RAZR V3.

They appear to be the same battery (1250 mah, 3.6 volts) which earnings you’ll be ok using the Razr charger.

Additional significant improvements in the 2×5 series include a predictive technology that provides nearer satellite lock, a redesigned screen with more information, terrain maps, and an exciting new photo navigation feature. The 265WT provides complete maps for North America and the clever Text-to-Speech feature, so you get turn-by-turn spoken directions with the real names of streets (eg “turn left in 50 feet at Nebraska Way”, rather than merely “turn left in 50 feet”).
