Can I switch cell phone companies 2 days- 1 week early withought a termination fee?

Can i switch cell phone companies without a fee? It would be like 2 days to a week early, is that possible without paying a fee? Thanks!
Because my dad. Is not going to be in town and he can’t go without a phone for business.

why not just wait the week? Seems easier. If you call the company they can tell you if you can or can’t

You most likely would be unable to do it this early. But try to find out from your phone company and would sure let you know the consequences if there are any.

You probably will still have to pay a fee. I don’t think service providers usually bargain

But if you can wait the one week, that is probably your best bet.

I guess you could just activate the new plan now and terminate your service with the current company when the plan expires, so you won’t pay the early termination fee. You’ll only be paying for the few days without using it.
