I just got through looking this up. I didn’t find Cricket which is a fixed cost for boundless minutes. They may not be in your area and they definately have a lot of cons…

Pay as you go is excellent and doesn’t seem to be dying down anytime soon. I’ve never used it for myself so I don’t really know.

Additional than that just check out all the cell phone carriers you can reckon of and see what you like. Some of the most basic phones will have plans for roughly 40 bucks a month or so and you might get the phone free as long as you sign up for 2 years in most cases.

Try to stay away from smartphones if you want something cheap. Not only do you pay a nice chunk of exchange for the phone, plans are considerably more.

I don’t know of US Cellular is in your area, but nearly all of their plans include “Free Incoming”. All calls made to you from anywhere do not count against your minutes. I don’t reckon any of the “huge” companies have this feature in their monthly plans (unless you have boundless, of course) but check with some of your community or regional providers (Not AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile) to see what they offer.

In Touch America is an fascinating wireless or cell phone seller because it offers innumerable low-priced plans which target consumers who are on a budget. The most obvious low-cost plot has a monthly charge of .99 but you have to pay for the air time for every phone call you make — there are no “free minutes.” This plot is really excellent for someone who makes very few calls or who needs an emergency phone. Under certain situation, you can get a free wireless phone with this low cost plot– question about it as situation and rules can exchange. In Touch America also has a plot that costs .99 a month and this plot comes with 100 free minutes, plus a free Motorola digital flip phone, a car charger, an ear piece, and a leather case for your cell phone. For an extra a month, they will double your minutes to 200. There are additional restrictions, so question about them.. In Touch America also offers a 0 instant rebate which can be used to buy a high end phone, and these include the well loved Palm Centro, the Blackberry Curve, the Motorola Q, and touch screen PDA phones, but you need to sign a two year contract and your two year plot must be for a monthly minimum of .99. There may be additional situation, including a small service charge if you have credit problems. Still, In Touch America just might be the right fit for someone on a tight budget. What is appealing are the package deals that include a free phone with free accessories. Question about these package deals and what restrictions
