theres a program callled white pages free but its only on the g1 and the iphone and the g1s more acurret

verizon phones do have that capablity if you signed up for it’s chaperone service, which allows parents to find their kids via their cell phone (only works on certain models).
in general there is no way for the general public to do this, 911 call centers can only located cell phones if the cell phone calls 911 in the first place. public don’t like Huge Brother to be able to find them by their cellphones generally.
