In what areas of the world is 900mhz used for cell phones?

Because i’m getting a tri-band phone and the tri-band doesn’t have 900mhz while the quadband does. Like what places in the world only have 900mhz coverage? Thanks.

900 I thought were one frequency range for home cordless phones.I thought all cell phones are mainly 800 mhz. Some all over is expanding to the first part of 900mhz.band. Call a cell phone company found in yellow pages and ask them

Verizon has a limited number of global phones. However, you use them with Verizon service which is horribly expensive. A better idea is an unlocked GSM phone into which you can put prepaid sim cards from each country you visit.

The phone that u buy should support both 3G and EDGE networks together. I am using a Sony Ericsson w995. Even though this is not a smart phone, It has dynamic specifications. It has a 8MP camera. It supports both networks
