What is the best prepaid cell phone company to go through?

My mom is allowing me to get a prepaid phone.
But i got to pay for it myself.
and i have a job so it wont be a problem.
but i am wondering which prepaid service is the best, and what is the cheapest.
and which ones have the best reliable service.
i would want unlimited text messaging for the cheapest price because i would use it the most for that

unlimited nights and weekends also,
then i would like to have internet access also

and the phone needs to be sweet too.

It probly depends on how many minutes you use and if you get unlimited text. I know us cellular has many plans with free incoming calls. Thats saves you alot of minutes.

It depends on you and your calling habits. My kids have tracfone because there’s not a daily fee, just the cost of the phone and minutes. If you get the double minute card and always get the highest card, it works out to about $ .10 a minute. Others may have cheaper minute rates, but they charge about $ 1 a day for service. /

If you have Alltel available in your area, I would suggest them. They have just recently launched a prepaid plan. I know where I livethey have phenomenal service and reception. They have some cool phones with mp3 players and stuff. They also seem to have some really good/reasonably priced bundles/packages. I have a postpaid plan with them, but when that’s up, I think I’ll change to their prepaid. check it out at http://www.alltel.com

Because Sprint offers the cheapest wholesale airtime rates and plans to these startups.

Verizon and gsm startups have the ability to use different outside phones. Verizon startups can use Verizon phones and gsm startups can use gsm unlocked phones but Sprint startups can only use their phones, not regular Sprint ones.

But most of the Sprint resellers have cheap unlimited plans. There are more Sprint reseller unlimited plans (Power Link, Platinum Tel, Liberty Wireless, Total Call, Ready Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Boost cdma) then there are Verizon or Gsm based resellers.
