I am looking for recommendations for a new cell phone plan. Difference in dropped calls between providers?

I am looking for recommendations for a new cell phone plan. Difference in dropped calls between providers?

We now pay $ 100.00 includng tax per month with Verizon for two lines with an allowance of 1400 minutes. We usually use about 900 minutes. We have a lot of dropped calls (live in monumental area) and are wondering if we would have less with another provider.
We would be open to plans which would include an Internet connection. We now pay $ 90.00 including tax per month to Cable One.

dude.. I really feel sorry for you and the rest of the us under the data plot in Canada. We are getting F**Ken ripped off here. I’m dead serious!

If I were you, wait. Rogers if fixing up their data plot – why, one word “iPhone” – should be out anytime soon. Rogers is noticing their data plans are too high, they are in the process of fixing it up.. don’t know if it will be cheaper.. it’s hope so.. sorry for life off topic!

I would go with a Helio. They just started doing family plans. I have an all-in plot where 500 minutes, boundless text and boundless internet are only $ 65 a month. They have several additional packages as well. I live in california, used it in new mexico and in nevada. Helio uses the sprint and verizon satellites so coverage is twice as excellent. Helio phones are made by samsung and the provider is helio.
They give fantastic discounts and free stuff also. You can transfer your ancient # also.
I switched from verizon and am pleased with the helio phone and service.
If you refer public and they sign up you get a free month of service free. So 12 friends signing up equals a free year! How can you beat that?

My new work phone, a Samsung Blackjack. I don’t plot to use it for very much, since it’s subpar to my iPhone in nearly every way. The camera looks better in bright interior light, but that’s about it. (Oh, and it takes record.)

Right now I have a Motorola Slvr with a Cingular plot. Is there a way I can buy a new phone and just have to place the SIM card I have now into a new phone I buy? Since Cingular and AT&T are the same company, do I have to buy an AT&T phone?

You can check out ebay for ATT/Cingular phones. You can buy unlocked phones too and persons will work. Just make sure your sim works with it.
