If i'm in the middle of a verizon phone contract can i start a new 2 yr contract and get a cell phone upgrade?
I really really want the samsung fascinate, and online with a new contracte its “only” $ 200. I’m currently about a year into my contract, and i have a (broken…:[ ) enV3. If I restart my contract, can I get the fascinate at the money off?

No. You cannot just “restart” your contract. You become eligible for an upgrade when 20 months of your contract is completed. Until then, a new phone is full price.

Firmware upgrade
Samsung rolled out today (9 May, 2011) a firmware upgrade to Android "Gingerbread" version 2.3.3 build PDA:JVH / PHONE:JVO / CSC:JV3 (XEE). Upgrade with Kies software first failed and I was forced to reboot the cell phone by removing the battery. I then tried upgrading it again and this time it succeeded.

When you are one or two years into your contract, you are able to buy another phone at a discounted price.
With the annual (one-year) upgrade, you will get the same money off on a phone as when you initally bought the phone you have now.
With the two-year upgrade, you’ll get an additional $ 25 or $ 50 off the price of your phone (depending on when you signed up, you may maybe get between $ 50 and $ 100, but they’ve changed it recently)
Each time you “upgrade”, or buy another phone, you extend your contract two more years. So, if you get the annual upgrade, you are signing up for another two years, and will not be able to get the additional money off that the two-year upgrade gives you.

The North Platte Telegraph A plot to redo Fifth Street from Bailey to Dewey Street has made more interest than usual in the fate of the downtown area. If one city councilman has his way, it may maybe lead to a long talked-about but never accomplished revitalization of the area.
