What are good cell phones that allow you to use the phone as a modem on your pc?

I have the LG Fusic from Sprint right now but we are about to be done with Sprint. We are basically going to choose our next cell phone carrier based on the phone we can get. Having the phone as a modem is the most vital feature to us. But trying to map out what all phones have that feature is like pulling teeth! Every carrier calls it something different, and I’m not sure if certain things mean what I reckon they mean so on and so forth.

its all the same.. internet tethering
you wont find this info on carriers sites because they are the ones paying for data, and this really drops the bomb on tethering. so youll have to look through cell phone forums for the answer.
