How do I transfer cell phone applications from one phone (old phone) to another (new phone)?

I uploaded several cell phone applications (JAD & JAR files, Telenavigator,Weather Channel, Garmin Mobile, eBay, EarthCamMobile, Google Maps, Vindigo, etc)) to my old phone from Ringerpost.com. I have a new phone but the Sprint rep won’t transfer the applications, just my phone book. Ringerpost.com is down for now so I can’t just upload the applications again (I didn’t save the JAD & JAR files on my desktop, foolish me). Any suggestions on how to transfer applications from my old phone to my new phone or how to get the JAD & JAR files off of my old phone and back onto my desktop so I can send them to my new phone with a file uploader? My old phone is a Sanyo MM-9000.

Use a modded version of opera mini 3.1 to re download the .jar files to your phone, they save as a stand alone .jar file that can be re installed at any time, and then bluetooth the .jar file to any other phone. That way, you get to keep the original.

I am a little scared running alone so I would like my husband to be able to track me via internet, for example Google Latitude. I plan on buying a Garmin Forerunner if this is a supported feature.

Is tracking like this possible with the Forerunner, and if not, which other similar GPS gadget could do this (not a cell phone and nothing bulky – the watch size is nice)?

No you can’t be GPS tracked with the Garmin

To be tracked, your device needs to be able to send data to a wireless network. IT can be done, but it i snot going to be small or cheap. They usually come with their own software.
Search for “GPS tracking” and you will find quite a few devices.
