Cell phone antennas?

Do you think if you stuck the antenna and no other part of the cell phone into the freezer, it would affect it’s reception and recieving abilities after taking it out of the freezer and then making a call?

No, if any thing the freezer would dampen cellular signals, as they travel best through air and not through metal, if u bought a additional antenna especially the ones that u plug in they would amplify the signals

What I have is a cell phone antenna amplifier, works great but it does not have an antenna adapter cord for my type of cell phone (It is a Sprint SCP-3100).
Now all it is basically is a cord that converts the removable antenna port into a standard antenna port that I plug into this device.
I don’t know where to search or what kind of port this is called so first I need to identify the cell phones antenna type or model name.
Any responses can help.
