Compared to other companies, cell phone companies are the most dishonest and racketeering business.

Why is that?

Is it just here in the States or is it like that all over the world?

No one is holding a gun to your head to use any of the 4 major carriers or 20 less vital carriers.

Opposing perspectives on the evaporation of pay phones, paraphased.

Techno-determinist says:
"Cell phone ownership has be converted into so affordable and wide spread, and reliable networks are so pervasive, that urban areas no longer require roughly two thirds of the pay phones that were available over a decade ago"

Leftist curmudgeon says:
"Cell phones generate far more profit than pay phones ever did. This is especially evident when the two are compared. .25 for unlimited minutes on a pay phone, .25 per minute on a cell phone. And it just so happens that cell phone companies also own pay phones. Eliminating pay phones manufactures a need for cell phones."

This is for a research project. I need to be able to equate their areas of service, phones, plans and costs. I need to be able to look at the 4 major companies.

Sprint, AT&T, Verizon & T-mobile

If you have ANY thought of everywhere to look, it would be greatly appreciated! :) Thanks!

the cell phone providers websites themselves DUH!

Answer by Prepaid Xpert
It sounds like you have you some work to do. There are numerous sites that review cell phone providers. They often fall into two separate categories, they review prepaid cell phone services and cell phone services that provide both conventional cellular service and prepaid cell phone service. The route you take in your project, will no doubt be dependent on how detailed your project will be.

I would suggest searching for cell phone review sites and then following up with the individual carriers. This may save you considerable time, as the review sites have a general overview of what you seem to be looking for in contrast to the individual carriers that provide a bulk of information that you may not need for your project and would take up a lot of time. Excellent Luck
