Can anyone help with writing cell phone software?

I want to write software for cell phones and other mobile devices, but I don’t know how to go about it. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

well first there are 3 main platforms symbian , java , and .net

with java netbeans can be used
symbian can download a sdk to add in to c++
and .net visual studio has device apps built in what language everywhere you looking at and what sort of software more info would be handy

java works on nearly all devices and os , .net works on windows mobiles only and windows pc’s not including mono project in linux , and symbian quite a few phones can use symbian most nokias

Someone’s been bugging me on my phone and just wouldnt take “no” or “stop it” for an answer. I chose to just ignore it, but sometimes the harrassment happens in the worst possible situations (In a assembly, Church, etc.). I am aware that cell phone manufacturers have not included this feature in their phones.

Therefore… Does anyone know of a software that does this?

there really isn’t a direct way to block anyone from calling you…..unless its a business, then you can add yourself to the national do not call list, but that isn’t going to help for an individual calling you. All you can do is to ignore the calls, turn the phone on silent or vibrate so you don’t have to hear it, and hopefully, eventually, they stop calling…..as far as the text messaging goes, there you may have a better chance through your provider, as they can setup either through them or give you the instructs on how, to block texting from certain ips, or facts, but it doesn’t always work correctly. And of course there is the 3rd option….get a different digit.

Hi, all you do is contact your service provider they will be able to help you to block these certain sms’e and calls. If that doesn’t work contact the police and I can assure you that they will help you.

I had the same conundrum and the only way was to get a restriction from the police. you use the restriction by going to the cell phone company ant they will block the caller for you.

It’s tough, because the caller can just change his/ her phone digit….and you’ll just start over…..so…possibly you should change your phone digit and list it as secret.
