T-mobile and AT&T....switching?

I recently signed my T-mobile contract for another 2 being in January. Now with the merging of the 2 companies, am I able to switch to AT&T without cancellation or activation fees?

There are a lot of online phones from AT&T that are free online only. How can I go about this?

And, if I must pay a termination fee, can I butter them up by telltale them I am moving into a house in which they do not have coverage…?
I know they made a deal. People. I just want an Iphone and I am tired of T mobile. I figure now would be best to get out thats it. YOu didnt even know why I am asking, gezz

You cannot cancel without paying the ahead of schedule termination fee. Carriers know everywhere they have coverage and everywhere they don’t. The AT&T acquisition of T-Mobile will take at least a year to complete once regulator approve it and they may not approve it.

ATT and Tmobile made a deal… ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its going to take 1 year for congress to approve this, IF they approve this….

another 1 year to merge corporations and employees and towers…

then another 6mo-1 yr to fusion customers……….

soooo……… this question is highly irrelevant right now!… Question again… in 2013 or 2014! in anticipation of then, ATT and Tmobile are separate… enemies… competitors… and your contracts are the same as they were 2 weeks ago!

For a better understanding of the time frame to merge companies, Verizon and Altell made a deal in 2008…. its wasnt in anticipation of 2010 and even NOW… that merging customers and contracts really started

So, by the time this 2yr contract you have is completely done… thats when mering should happen

If you are on contract, you can’t terminate without etf. The fusion hasn’t been approved yet, nor will it happen for at least a year. You’d be best off waiting in anticipation of it does and see what they offer. most liable, t-mo customers will be offered subsidized phones for signing with them, at which point, you can get a iphone with at&t. It is also possible at that time that t-mo customer will be let out of their contracts without the etf, if t-mo phones no longer work on at&t’s network, in which case you can go to verizon or whomever. But in anticipation of then, there is no way out of the contract without paying the etf. And no, you can’t just “say” you went; they will question for take up verification.

When i try to add my t-mobile phone to connect with bluetooth and to send files from my phone. It will say “devices not found.” But on my phone it will pick it up and when i type 0000 it said “access denied” from the LG Rumor.

your phone may be on hidden try changing your bluetooth setting to visible

Change the Bluetooth visibility to ON or possibly it just its not compatible with the other device
