I'm cingular. if i buy an unlocked LG Voyager Verizon cell phone, do i have to buy a package to go with it?

I really want The Voyager cell phone, but I’m not Verizon. If i buy an unlocked voyager phone..will i have to buy an additional package to use it? if so, can i even get it if i’m Cingular? and how much more will it cost?

At&t or Cingular
T-Mobile
those are GSM carriers while..

Verizon
Sprint
etc
those are CDMA carriers….

So the technologies are incompatiable. This will not work!

If you bought an unlocked iPhone and wanted it on Tmobile, that would be possible because they are both GSM.

You cannot unlock LG Voyager, because it only works on the verizon network since it’s using CDMA network.

If they or you dont have the money, then maybe you should get a cheaper phone. The enV isnt a bad phone and i think its only like 40 or 50 bucks with a new contract

It’s nice to know you’re willing to work to earn some money, but sad to see you’re willing to spend it on some nonsense you don’t need at the the ripe old age of 11.

At 11 yrs old, why would you need such an advanced phone? Anyway, so good jobs for someone your age would be babysitting, mowing lawns, walking dogs, weeding the garden, small chores around the house, washing cars. Start asking your neighbors if they have any small tasks that you can do for a few bucks. Sometimes elderly neighbors need help taking out the trash or carrying in their groceries from the car. You should also talk with your parents about this. They will probably have some ideas for you as well.

I applaud you in wanting to earn the money yourself. Good for you.
