Do you know of any cell phone companies that will pay you to get out of your current contract?

Im looking to get out of my current provider because they suck. Do you know of any companies that are running a promotion for a gift card or will pay you to get out of your current contract? Thanks in advance!

My friends mom talked the salesmen into getting 2 phones for free (it wasn’t a promotion at the time) while signing a new contract. I’m switching over to Verizon on someone’s plan, they’ll be renewing their contract and adding me a line. How can i bargain to get a few discounts or something for a phone? any tips?
the contract holder is getting a deal.. i was wondering how we can bargain to get myself a deal..

If you’re joining someone else’s plan, they’re not going to bargain with YOU, they’ll be interested in talking to the person who has the contract.

They don’t care about what you want, in their eyes you’re not the one paying the contract.
