They’ve have seen instances when I needed a cell phone. Well..hopefully they did like for example, my teacher had to wait to make sure I was okay for nearly an hour with me. I’m 16 turning seventeen in a small over a month. It just sucks seeing nearly all of the high school and even middle school population have like cell phones with texting, picture taking, and all that jazz and I don’t have one at all.

All you have to do is convince your Mom and or Dad to get you a prepaid, there are cute ones out there that range from like, $ 15-$ 100. Pfft, that what I had to do! Lol.. Goodluck.

My 8 year ancient daughter even has one and you know why? and you need to tell your parents this it’s for safety reasons. Seriously that phone might come in handy if something terrible was to happen so you could call for help.
They need to look at it that way each kid/teen should have a cell phone. I thought how dumb when my daughter brought it up to me because all her friends have one.
But when I really thought about it it’s smart to have one for your kids and your parents need to see this as well. At least with a phone in a time of need it’s there and that’s a small bit of peace and mind.

I reckon you need a cell phone, but like cell phones, texting , pix taking is what cost the $ $ $ . Make a deal with your parents that you
will not abuse the privilege of having a cell phone and keep your word.
Offer to pay for it yourself or at least part of the bill.

question your parents to buy you a pre-paid phone from walmart. You can get one for $ 50-$ 100 that way your parents won’t have to sign a contract and you won’t have to worry about going over on your minutes.. bc you will just run out of minutes, when you run out the you just have to buy more minutes. It’s pretty much a win, win situation.

Pay for it yourself and then they can’t say no.

I want to add my mom to my family plot. She is 78. I need one that’s simple to use. Mainly just a phone! I should have large facts and text. Any suggestions
It must work on ATT
My mom has a vision conundrum and I reckon I know her more than you do. She gets easily confused even with a TV remote.

Geez – wonderful mind-set you have about your mother. You talk like she’s some sort of idiot who can’t use an ordinary cell phone?!? I’ll bet excellent money SHE didn’t question for the phone.

How about a novel thought – ASK her what kind of phone SHE would like!!!! What a concept – mama still has a brain – and even PREFERENCES!

Do grow up – she’s a grown woman, not a four-year-ancient. Question her what she desires, and then get it.

They advertise one on TV called the Jitterbug. It’s suppose to be simple for ancient people to use, with huge facts and stuff.

I hear JITTERBUG is fantastic, but don’t know if it works with AT&T.

And hey, dances_with_unicorns… Don’t be so cunty. Not everyone has a mother who is as techno-savy as yours apparently is.

I bought a tracphone and I place one digit dialing on the thing so my legally blind husband can just push 2 then the conservational phone button. There are cell phone overlays you can get that magnify text. You can get them at disability home aids companies. I saw it in the independent living aids catalog (I reckon that is the name of the house). I haven’t bothered, because it’s still too small for my 67 year ancient husband. If you find a excellent phone, delight email me with the info!!!

Tracfone isn’t that expensive if you can’t get ATT to work for her, and if you screw up and push the incorrect button, you can always turn the thing off. You can place the phone facts in for her, and I bet she mostly just desires to call you or dial 911 anyhow.
