I am looking for a waterproof cell phone. Anybody know of any?

I work in construction. Im not looking for a phone i can use underwater or in a pool. I am looking for a phone that can stand up to the elements. My phone is constantly susceptable to dust and moisture and i have had my third phone quit working on me because it got moisture and dust in it.

Answer by summerdaze
just place it in a plastic zip lock bag!

I heard that this one girl was so addicted to texting that before she got in the shower she place her phone in a plastic bag? Does it work, i want to try but i dont want to risk anything, how can i make it EXTRA water proof?

Answer by Loosie(:
NOT take it in the shower.

you ”heard it”. so yeah, it’s doubtless a rumour.

As the person above me wrote, DO NOT USE A CELL PHONE IN THE SHOWER!!! You can place a phone in a bag, but that won’t really make it water proof. If you had the phone in a closed bag in your pocket during a rainstorm or something then yeah, that would keep out nearly all water if the bag was any excellent, but I wouldn’t try anything more than that.

Don’t bring any electronic device with you when you shower… even if it’s in tons of layers of bags/padding. The air inside the bag which initially is cool would start to heat up since the water you’re showering with is doubtless warm…damaging your phone. I reckon water vapor might even renovate inside the bag (not sure, haven’t learned science in a while :P )

no, do not do like that, it will hurt your cell phone.
