I’m a young marketing entrepreneur and interested in getting into this huge market. I’ve read about huge companies that do the same thing. What type of software would I need to format the phones?
What kinds of tools would I need to fix, format the phones?
Where would I find manuals, tech. info on specific phone models?
What types of tools would I need to “unlock” cell phones?

You would need to go through a carrier and get certified to do it legitimately.

Most of the “refurbish” process is cleaning the item, then turning it on and making a call (with your own sim card) to make sure it is functional. To fix a particular phone, google the model name for info. Lots of trial and error involved in this learning process. Over time, you will learn the ins and outs. So just do it! and…
