How do I remove my cell phone and number from a family service plan and switch the number to a new plan/phone?

How do I remove my cell phone and number from a family service plan and switch the number to a new plan/phone?

I am part of a family cell phone service plot with Verizon. I want to exit that plot and buy a 2 year contract with AT&T along with a new iPhone, but also keep my same digit. Can anyone help me out and clarify the procedure involved?

You will need to take a copy of a current bill and go to an AT&T store and tell them that you want to port your Verizon digit to them and they will get everything started for you. If you are still under contract with Verizon then you will have to pay their ahead of schedule termination fees

My whole family uses prepaid cell phone service, and I absolutely despise it. I’m worried to really talk on it because it runs out so quick. She complains about how much service plans cost and refuses to get one. How could I convince her that it is a excellent thought to get a plot?

First of all, you dont NEED a cell phone for any reason in the world. None.

cell phones are the largest scam … sure they are handy but there is no reason in the world that 85% of the people by them NEED to. So help me, the next person that pulls out in front of me while talking on one….grrrrrrr

Be unique, be different, start a trend…avoid cell phones, avoid getting sucked into the “in thing to own”

save your money, buy a house, place a real phone in…makes 1000x more sense.

Tell her its always better to have a plot , even the cheapest one for emergency purposes. What if you need to call home or your parents etc straight away and only have 2 minutes left of the prepaid plot..
I reckon she will like that thought. its very helpful..

Take care..
