Family Plan Cell phone, but can you buy the phones at different locations?

My husband and I want to be on a family plot for our cell phones. We want to go with AT&T, but the phone I want is carried in one house and the one he desires is at another house. Can you buy a family plot cell phone at 2 different seats?

As long as both phones are made and serviced by AT&T yes you can. But you can not use a sprint or Verizon phone on an AT&T account and so forth.

Simple answer is no. At&t will not take a phone that isn’t used by them. It just doesn’t work that way. Your phone must be made by the same company or a partner company for something like that to work. But you could always look for some new cheap phones.

Last night I went to sleep with a Cingular cell phone and woke up with an AT&T cell phone. Kinda creepy.

I need a new cell phone that can take a beating and keep on working. It needs to have bluetooth and a camera and any other features would be fantastic. It must work with at&t (cingular). I’ve heard there are some phones that are waterproof and impact strong. I really like Nokia phones more than anything but I’m open to suggestions.

The fancier the phone the simpler they are hurt. We use Pdas at work they take the abuse better than a regular phone.
