what do you think about buying cell phones on ebay and send them to central america to sell them?

i wanna buy cell phones on ebay and send them to inner america and sell them there.. but i’ve been told i need to send T-mobile cell phones, because the have this sim card thingy…is it right? what if they dont have the sim card? can’t they work?…..
because i have family there, and i wanna help them at the same time i get into the business world

I live in Inner America and i have family in both Miami and Los Angeles. They have their way of getting groundbreaking new phones, they send them to me, here in Nicaragua, and i provide them to people who need them. I don’t sell them for too much money, as you know, people in Inner America don’t make millions a month.

Yes, t-mobile and Cingular (now AT&T) phones are the only phones you can use here. The “sim card” is a small card that going in the back of the phone by the battery. Its like a “memory card”, it stores you contacts, music, text messages, and things like that (depending on the memory on it) and most importantly its like the chip that controls the phone.

When i get them here, i go to a house everywhere i get them “unlocked”, then anyone can use the phone by export a pre-paid sim card or just a new plot. Its simple. The phone companies that don’t have use sim cards are Sprint and Verizon, and other non-huge names. I have an iPhone, but i haven’t used it yet, just got it a week ago. But i do use a Cingular 8125 and Sony Ericcson W810i, they are both from Cingular and use a sim card. Click on the links below and it will clarify some more.

So I was checking out 2 cell phones of the same model at a shop just that one’s red and the other’s black. It’s Nokia 3600 slide, the guy was like the black one’s costs less than the red one as the red one already has a memory fit in it and the black one doesn’t. So suppose I buy the black one, do I have to separately buy a memory card for this? You see, I don’t really know much about cell phones and all so I’d appreciate your help =]

it depends if i comes with it no but if it doesnt then yes there is a slot for it

Most cellphones come with the small memory card, but they usually don’t have much memory. If it doesn’t come with the card you do have to buy one. But they should sell it in the same store in which you’re getting the phone from, if not, any other consumer electronic store should have them… stores like radio lean-to, best buy etc…

ok am not familiar with this model because i work for sprint custumer care …

you have to check if the black one has a a larger internal memory that may be why that are not charitable you a memory card, and if they dont and teh internal memory its the same size you are going to end up export it on your own and i will recomend getting the red one
