Best cell phones for Elderly?

Best cell phones for Elderly?

I’m looking for a excellent cell phone for my grandma that is VERY loud and has a huge screen and buttons and is prepaid. Preferably Tracfone or something with a similar plot.

I am looking to add my grandparents to my Cell plot so they have an emergency phone to use while pouring. Most cell phones are the small feature rich type, and I am looking for one that will not confuse them too much and they can use easily. Any help would be appreciated.

Try the Palm Treo 600. It has a excellent sized screen and keypad and it’s an grown-up model phone (the 650 and 700 have since come out) but is still available on the promote as new so you can get them relatively inexpensively (try Ubid.com for example). You can also bring up to date their phone contacts on a computer and sync it to the phone.

Trust me, I have a 90 year ancient grandmother who refuses to use a cell phone or computer and I have to MANUALLY bring up to date her personal phone book. With the Treo software, you can bring up to date the directory on the computer AND the phone and print out a new personal directory all in a few steps.
