where to put cell phone antenna booster?
I just bought a “celltenna” booster for my Motorola L6 phone. Have no thought everywhere should I house it. Anyone can help?
I tried all the suggestions…it still doesn’t work. For those of you who are curious, I only paid $ 2 for the booster.

I reckon it goes everywhere the battery goes. Just remove the battery and house it inside, then house the battery everywhere it belongs.

Take the battery off the back of the phone. House the antenna booster on the back of the phone, then reattach the battery.

From what I know it’s placed in the battery compartment. I am curious about them as well, let me know if it works for you….

In the garbage. They don’t work.

The antenna booster (usually called a Wilson antenna) looks out of out for a cell signal than a traditional cell antenna.
You mount it on the outside of your car, and plug the jack end of the cord into the antenna jack on the side of your cell phone.

I’ve tried the small gold foil-looking things; they’re junk. I have a excellent-quality phone, but live in a “dead” zone with practically no reception at all. Any suggestions?

No, you need to switch to Cingular… all over network with more bars in more seats! haha… only kidding… You could talk to your service provider about getting one.
