Q&A: how to locate a lost cell phone?

i know it is possible to locate a cell phone if you have a gps locater on it. How do i do that? WHat is the best way to locate a cell phone? anyone with helpful information delight help me. thank you so much.

wow when u got the phone they probaly offerd the lost and found add on its a tracker divise laocted in ure phone im sure thiers other ways to find it jus question your phone company

contact your cellular provider or go to a store, they can report it stolen and possibly shut the phone off so it can no longer be activated.

call your company and have it shut off. then tell them it is lost no one can activate this. sorry but it will be impossible to find.

I have a cell phone digit and am trying to find out who owns it? Is that possible? Or do I have to buy the wrap on line?

The following won’t give you the name of the person who owns the digit, but it will tell you if the digit is available and which cellular company the digit is registered with. Go to http://www.411.com and do a reverse phone search.

I haven’t heard of a service that you can get free information for cellular facts.

call somebody on the contact list like “mom” or somebody that they’ve called recently and say that you found the phone.

Or, i reckon you can go to www.superpages.com and click on the people pages button. Go to the settings part of the phone and find the part that says “my phone digit”. Plug that into the web site in the section for “reverse tracking” or something. Then, you know who owns the phone.

I would just call somebody like “home” or somebody that they call a lot that they might be dating/married to/”with” at the time. Tell them you found the cell phone and they can help you get it back to the title-holder.

I only two way. One, is call of the title-holder contact list and question about who the title-holder of the cell phone and how you can reach that person. Two, you can try to call the phone company. Tell them that you have found a cell phone like to return to the title-holder.
