How does text messanging work for prepaid phone plans?

I know that each message costs ($ 0.10 per message), but i want to know how it works. How do you pay for it? Are you billed? Does it get taken off your phone card? HELP ME!

yes its deducted from the phone card.

It is a prepaid phone so it is taken off of the card that you paid. so it just deletes from the account.

I was looking through the website (telus.ca and telusmobility.com), and I had my eye set on finding out about the web surfing on their prepaid phones. I know my phone can surf the web (I tried it), but I don’t know if it is free. As it is a prepaid phone I do not get a monthly bill, so I cannot check that.
