How do I prolong the life of my cell phone battery?

The battery only works for 20 hours; then, it dies out, and I need to charge it again. What should I do so that my cell phone battery will work for more days?

only thing you can do is turn the phone off. or buy one of those super batteries

the best way to maintain battery life is to recharge only when the battery dies out completely. Another way is to turn off vibrator mode.

I need to purchase a cell phone battery online (for a discontinued cell phone model – Panasonic GD88).

Are there any real good ways that I can tell if it’s a counterfeit battery?

Also, if I decide to get a cell phone (Panasonic x700) from another country (online as well), is there a way that I could tell if it’s counterfeit as well?

There are some really good cell phone knock offs (hard to tell) that I would like to avoid.

Any websites with some good info appreciated.

Note: I can’t get these directly from the manufacturer since it’s not available in my country. I’ve contacted the manufacturer and it’s not possible as the products are not tested to meet the standards here and they won’t send it to me.

This phone is not available in the continent in which I live, let alone the country.

That is why I am buying it online. I have no other choice. That’s the only clamshell smart phone that I like.

No real way to tell. But you sound like you want the lowest price on it so you’re pretty much screwing yourself. If you buy it locally from a reputable place and it turns out to be a fake you can just return it. Not so easy to do that online.
