never heard of that before, if you are thinking about recycling your cell phone battery thats free ….so u dont get anything in return

u can always buy a nice nokia phone that is unlocked online and use it with any carrier rather than using a locked phone by verizon

Crappiest Cell Phone In The World

I pretty much have the crappiest cell phone in the world. I bought it about 2 years ago for .99 at the corner minimart. I hardly ever use it. For the most part it sits in my glove compartment. Whenever I call to recharge it the recording is in Spanish until it says, "… for directions in english press #2." I’ve been using it a little more often lately to check in on my Dad in North Hollywood. The other day I left it on and the battery ran out. After recharging, the phone defaulted back to displaying everything in Spanish. I tried off and on for a few days to get that thing back to english. I finally had to give it to Mary who figured it out in a couple of seconds. My friends with ‘real cell phones’ have all tried to convince me to make the leap. The thing is, I’ve got a girlfriend who can read spanish, my phone cost me less than , my plan (recharging the thing) costs me less than a month, and with the money I’ve saved I’ve been able to buy a nice camera and a few very nice lenses. I still think my priorities are in order.

No, you can buy a prepaid or tracfone type thing, but not an actualy plan. A credit check is always ran in order to start service and you must be 18 years old.

well, ur mom will eventually give you your phone back, so if u still buy urself a new phone, get a pay as you go plan so you don’t commit to anything. its only temporary, so there shouldn’t be anything bad to it…oh but your mom might get piseed

anyone can have a prepaid phone. wal-mart will hook you up and have you talking on your way out the door. depending on the phone and carrier that you choose, it can be as little as $ 50-$ 75. it may cost you a couple extra dollars per month, but you will have something to use until you turn 18 and can try for a “contract” phone of your own.

i dont live in texas, but im thinking your are to young. if you want a phone on a contract, you cant do it yourself. but you can go with flex pay which is a plan that requires no credit checks. but the phones come out more pricey with flex pay. flex pay there is no contracts so you dont have to worry about going over your bill or being late on a bill,
