Sample letter to employees about personal call during work time?

Where can I find sample letter or notice to employees about not using cell phones or making personal call during work time or while working in warehouse, thanks in advance…

my all time best advice is “Google it” somewhere out there is a letter or template form of what you want…Google it and see if you can find out. also join a business forum ask around everywhere until you find what you need

you could outsource it to someone who knows how to properly draft and execute such a letter!

Say something like: From the hours of 8-4 you are on my payroll. NO personal calls or cell phones will be permitted. Use your break time to make personal calls. Say something about there will be a first time warning and if you are caught again disregarding our policies, you will be sent home for the day

Just out of curiosity, do you have an Employee Handbook that you give to employees and have them sign a receipt acknowledging that they got a copy?

If so, that is where to put this policy. If not, you should consider having your HR person/department putting together such a manual.

Now, how big a problem is this for you? Because once you start down this path, you have to be careful. You will need to articulate that there are exceptions to the rule in case of bona fide family emergencies. But then that now means people will ask, “What is a family emergency?” If a parent is working and has a kid in school, they have to leave a phone number where the school can reach them. Would you prohibit these calls? You will get in trouble.

Are you going to prohibit all personal calls or just those on company phones?

So, unless you are experiencing a significant problem as evidenced by your phone bills or by observations you or your managers have made, it is best to leave sleeping dogs lie (as they say).

You can, of course, identify a number from your phone bill that is being called repeatedly and quickly use that to id the person that is most likely making the calls and just deal with these instances on a case basis.

Warehouse floor, believe it or not.

ok so i bought a sony ericsson w800i in january of this yearfrom the car phone warehouse ,its not on contract and i didnt get a warranty with it ,for the past month it has really been playing up,the screen goes constantly blank and i cannot txt or call off it, it sometimes makes a vibration motion and doesnt stop until like 10 mins after.
does anyone know whats wrong with it , ive took the sim out n cleaned it ect n it still seems to do the same,could it be the sim or the phone itself and how can i get it fixed or where ?

WOW! you may need to purchase a new phone, sorry to say.
Check the dot in the back of the phone where the battery sit. If it has turned red in color, then your phone has gotten wet at one point or another.
Since you bought it from an after market phone place and it has no warranty on it, it probably wouldn’t be worth getting it fixed. It may not even be able to be repaired.
Did the warehouse offer any type of return policy? I would check with them first.
