but if i had to choose… it would be VERIZON
alltel: not offered in certain places
helio: calls aren’t cheap
virgin: connection’s no good (per friend)

i have only had a few dropped calls since i got it and before with sprint i had dropped calls like crazy.
and i have service just about everywhere with verizon.

As T-Mobile sues Lansing in U.S. District Court in Grand Rapids to build the cell tower, neighbors next to the tower are helping to develop an ordinance to make the two sets of needs compatible.
This is the most bizarre policy, especially in this day and age when many people (like me) no longer use a landline AND I’ve already provided other proof of identity like copies of my driver’s license, social security card, previous address in addition to current address, and masses of other information that identity thieves would have a hard time collecting.

it is most likely that they would like an alternate contact point in case there is a problem with the shipment. However, they also prefer to have an alternate contact so when you don’t pay the bill, they can try to track to down. They do this because there is a 20% fraud rate over all.
