Does verizon have any cell phones like the sidekick?

I have verizon and i really like the sidekick but all my friends have verizon…so texting is free, is verizon going to come up with any phones like the sidekick(Non that are like smart phones…verizon is making a lot of those lately =( Or do they have any like the side kick?
