How to make good decisions fast? e.g. Cell Phone?

Hi, I would like to know that how can one make good decisions fasts.
I have been stuck on this decision for a couple of months now, what is the best way to deal with this sample situation.

For example, I want to buy a new smart phone

1. I can afford an iPhone4
2. iPhone indicate higher social status

3. Apple charges at least 200€ higher than what it should ask for iPhone and even though I can afford it but it is wrong to abuse people like this and to waste money.

4. Apple release a new model every year making the old sets are like yesterdays newspaper

5. I have also come across a smart phone that is 1/3 of Apples price and is good for nearly all of my everyday uses. OK, its camera is just 3 mpix and it is 2mm thicker.

6. Even more powerful handsets like Desire HD
BTW it is ZTE Blade

My question is how to make decisions. I could have also given an example of selecting a spouse as well.

Typically these types of decisions should be made by your financial situation.

I, for example, run a family plan on Verizon, with 4 other people. Therefore, iPhone is out of the question for me. Besides, I don’t like being in *that* crowd anyway. :P Instead, I bought a Droid, which has not failed me yet. (I see the image you linked is a Droid. Keep in mind the Droid market isn’t as of yet as wonderful as the iPhone’s market, but it’s getting there. They just broke 200k apps! :P )

The phone is expensive, and every year they come out with something better. It’s always like that. My Droid is already old news. :P You’ll also want to buy a phone that’s powerful enough that despite the fact it’ll be a bit old in a year, it won’t warrant replacing.

Hope this helps.

My new foster dog. Anderson Cooper or "Coop" was the last Baldwin Park dog left at the Best Friends super Adoption, Nov 2010. I couldn’t let him go back to the "house of death" so w/ the help of Best Friends I took this little guy home to foster.

Which do you like?

I hear AT&T and Verizon are the best (with AT&T slightly ahead) But I’d consider mostly the same.

I heard Sprint sucks for numerous reasons and T-Mobile is just Ok.

Also I found this out –

In 2008, Sprint wrote off losses of $ 29.7 billion resulting from impairment of the company’s goodwill. The company has announced that they will be outsourcing 54% of their workforce overseas in the 2009-2010 fiscal year. Sprint has also struggled to reduce its customer churn rate which is one of the highest in the industry. Customers have been leaving Sprint due to what they perceive as poor customer service.[citation needed] Owing to the corporation’s large debt, Fitch Ratings cut Sprint’s credit rating to Junk status.[citation needed] S&P is also considering a similar move.[citation needed]

Whoa! =P

Anyway, which one do you like better? and why if you have a reason?

Sprint does suck. Their customer service is really bad, and their phones are just “so-so”. T-Mobile isn’t very popular, they have nice phones, but the internet (3g) is not available in many areas. They have just now joined the “outstanding” phones category, with the introduction of the exclusive G1. At&t is by far the best, because they have amazing phones, good rates, great service, and many locations nation wide. Verizon is a good CMDA competitor with At&t, if you don’t have good GSM coverage in your area. Verizon also has very speedy internet for phones/laptops, so if you are getting one of those Broadband cards for a computer, I would go with Verizon for that. For talk/text/small amounts of mobile internet I would get at&t. Thats just my perspective! Thanks. :)

Verizon: because with them there is no hiddens charges and you buy what you buy there is no catch
