What is the best, cheapest cell phone service with no contract?
by guano
Boundless minutes, texting, and internet
Answer by Nick
Sounds like you want Metro PCS. Remember, wireless carriers that charge low tariff have poor or no service in many areas. Check to see if they are available near you. Metro PCS offers boundless EVERYTHING for 50.00 a month. They have several different types of plans depending on what you want! They will not have all of the perks like high speed data (EV-DO) or anything like that.

Im sorry to tell you there is services with boundless minutes, texting, and internet but all require contracts.
If yu want something cheap try T-Mobile.
Verizon and AT&T are the priciest.
Try these websites they aver to have “no contracts” but I wouldnt get your hopes high:
1.)http://www.phone-bill-busters.com/cellular.htm
2.)http://www.tracfone.com
Hope this helps!

Phillips Cabins in El Yunque Rainforest
Awesome, awesome, awesome experience. I’d read about this cabin online and really really wanted to go, but having small sense of distances and thinking Playa Balneario Luquillo would be cheaper and more welcoming than it was, I’d sort of chose against it. But after an exceptionally rainy night camping at Seven Seas in Fajardo, we chose to go for a roof over our heads. We called, and the woman who answered gave us absolutely perfect driving directions from the additional side of El Yunque (don’t try to take a small cut — 191 doesn’t go through!).
"Bring food, because once you reach the cabin, you won’t want to place," she said, somewhat cryptically. We stopped at K-Mart in Fajardo, stocked up on EZ Cheeze and Gushers, and headed up the additional side of 191. It was gorgeous! You can see waterfalls in the rainforest in the distance. "Wow, I know what she earnings by not wanting to place once you get here!" I told Melissa. We parked across the street from this sign and threw some things in our small bags, plotting to come back once we’d "checked in."
Mistake. When we rang the gong for service, a cool kid showed up and led us on a small hike into the rainforest. Or at least I assumed it would be a small hike. Or maybe a standard hike, I thought as we progressed. It was completely dark by the time we reached the utterly secluded cabin, maybe a ten-small hike from the house.
We tried to go back down to the car to get more provisions, but the trail occasionally got iffy, I was creeping for myself out about life in the middle of the rainforest in the dark with a cell phone that wasn’t responding after its dunk in the ocean, and about halfway down, I realized I’d forgotten the car keys. We headed back up and didn’t try going down again. We lit some candles and ate some of our health food. Melissa chatted on her cell phone (which worked perfectly), and I set up the camera I’d bought to replace the one I’d left for the waves to eat the day before. We got a fantastic, dry night’s sleep with lots of coqui and wind sounds but not many additional sounds to creep us out. Sitting on the deck the next morning and hiking down, we got to be grateful for how completely surrounded by nature we were. Highly recommended for public whose thought of luxury is green as far as the eye can see. Not recommended for public whose thought of luxury involves wash parking.
I use a wheel chair for mobility and carry my cell phone only for emergencies. Now I pay $ 19/month. I have never gone over 10 small/month.

You might try Consumer Cellular. It’s $ 9.95 a month and the phone is free. It’s perfect for public who seldom use their phone.

Do not get suckered into a Cellular contract. Go to you community Wal-Mart, target, Kmart, whatever. And buy a track phone. It is a cell phone that uses calling cards. Your only cost is the phone up front, and the cost of whatever size of calling card you wish to get. Personally for myself, I am a Verizon guy. I would not have a track phone because I live on my phone, but for your case, a track phone is the best option.
