hi, my prefered review site is this http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phones it has excellent and terrible points and gives a detailed description of the phone and it also gives users opinions so you can see what additional public have thought of the phone.

A nice, simple, buggy, possessed-by-demons cellphone.

This is the first LG cellphone I’ve had that was buggy. On the plus side, at least they are consistently buggy – all five (or six? I lost count.) of them I’ve tried. Many did this weird spontaneous-screen-lighting-up business, which may maybe be the cause of the lower-than-advertised battery life. All of them have had their calendar possessed by demons. My review, and how to recreate the calendar weirdness, is here.

Update, 23 Apr ’09: I took my phone to Verizon today and they gave me a new one that was a different model. They said after you have distress with a certain model several times, they will give you something else. I got a VX8360, which is much nicer, because they didn’t have any on the same tier as my ancient one.

I highly recommend the Verizon Wireless store on F Street in D.C. They have been super helpful and pleasant to work with.

I am 17 years ancient and really interested in cell phone testing and reviewing. But I don’t know what to do in apt one. So what is it that I have to do to become one? If any person in the cell phone reviewing industry is reading this please contact me with work or any advice…

also under what major will cell phone reviewing fall under the best?…i was thinking Marketing, Product development

I don’t know exactly how it works but I reckon if you start buying phones and reviewing them yourself, and start a youtube direct, then they might start sending them to you. Cell phone manufacturers want reviewers who have a pretty huge influence so you need to be pretty well known on youtube (or have your own website or whatever..) and if they see that you reach a lot of public, then they might send you a review unit for 2 weeks or so to test and make a review on. I’m not sure exactly how it works but I reckon once you become well known you can contact them saying here’s my direct, I have this many viewers, and I wanted to know if you were interested in sending me a review unit or something like that. Sorry I don’t know exactly how it works but I hope that helps!
