Q&A: Is there any way I can track a cell phone via the internet?

Q&A: Is there any way I can track a cell phone via the internet?

My ex-husband is stalking me, my kids, and my new boyfriend. Does anyone know of a website that I can find his GPS coordinates online with his cell phone number or have I watched too much CSI?

Answer by nick
That kind of technology is not available to civilians.

Give your answer to this question below!

I’ve been toying with my new phone for a while now (haven’t figured it all out yet with all the apps stuff) and thinking of how incredible it is that not too long ago parents had to do everything the “hard” way. Can you imagine road trips with a screaming kid or kids (lol) without GPS?

What additional modern services do you value as a parent?

Answer by zippypie
the computer, the oven the stove and snow blowers!

i don’t use my cell phone much at all but i do rely on the gps (it’s surprising my ancestors didn’t get separated from their tribe and lost forever) and google (how else to answer the questions about the lifespan of the worm?). but the services i value most are dishwasher, microwave, warmer drawer in the oven, and washer drier.

*megabeth, i really agree with much of that but it would be a more persuasive position if it weren’t confirmed on y!a. ;-)

I despise modern “services,” they have made us an incredibly bone idle, irresponsible society. What happened to parents making their kids entertain themselves? I never had a flat screen TV in the car to watch, and yet somehow I managed not to be a shrieking terror. There was also no GPS in that car, but somehow my parents managed to find their way around. They also taught me how to read a f*cking MAP, so that I may maybe chart my own courses and have some skill to fall back on if I ever got lost.

Unplug your electronics and spend some REAL time with your children. Teach them skills that would be useful if we didn’t have all of these ridiculous gadgets and cultivate them as public instead of mindless small consumers of tomorrow.

EDIT: I don’t mean to imply that I despise all electronics, I do reckon that certain things have improved day-to-day life immeasurably (washer/dryer, oven, etc.). Unfortunately we get caught up in striving for the simplest way to do things and lose sight of the best way.

LOL, I still don’t have GPS. I really don’t see a need for it, a few public I know have said it isn’t always right anyway.
Phone – I would despise to be without it but it has nothing to do with me life a parent.

I would imagine this is going back further than you are implying but I would have to say a washer and dryer are valued highly in this household.

I don’t have a cell phone, or GPS or even a dvd player in my car. I do have the internet, but I may maybe easily parent without it.

What I couldn’t live without is a washer, dryer, fridge and stove.

bit.ly Cell Phone Spy Software: Keeping an Eye on the Kids Do you remember your childhood? What does it mean to you? A time of simpler pleasures? A period of learning and learning the world? Or a sad time that youre pleased its over? Whatever it is, Im sure you agree that the world we lived in was much different than the world that our children live in. When we were young, drugs were smoked by hippies on rock concerts. Today, they are sold outside of primary schools. Guns were something that only actors on films used, not something that crazy students carry around in high schools. And when a child disappeared, the whole town went into commotion and organized a search party. And because everybody knew everybody else, result a lost child was much simpler. Today, we see missing children in milk cartoons and on news reports, yet public take it as lightly as the next piece of news. Its only reasonable that we get worried about the safety of our children. When kids see accidents and kidnappings on TV, they never reckon its going to happen to them. We, on the additional hand, have been taught by life that these things do happen and may maybe very well happen to our children. Thats why we question so many questions to our children, because we like them. We want to know where they are going to be, who they are going to be with, what time they are coming back, etc. But, for children, we are just trying to control them. A excellent way of solving this conflict is by getting cell
