how to activate a used rogers cell phone?

I have a rogers samsung used by my sister and idont know how to put the 15 digit S/A is, its not working!!! its a 16 digit with the space!! i’v tried 1000000millon times no joke.. HELP ACTIVATING IT!

rogers phones use sim card, you activate that not the phone, i don’t know why or what your talking about an “15 digit S/A”
you can buy and activate a sim card at a rogers store for 15$

on a rogers phone you can dial * plus a number to call rogers free of charge….what the heck is that number?

it is *611 but you should not be charged for calling the regular number [1 888 rogers1] anyway. *611, like *67 and 911, is more like a universal number to call customer service from a mobile phone.
