Does the LG vu require a cell phone plan or can you "pay as you go"?

i want to get a new phone but i dont want to have to pay for a cell phone plot, i would prefer a pay as you go plot for the phone.

You need a plot – I have that phone, and they charge you for a few different things like internet, tv, etc.

Yes you do need a plot. If it was a pay as you go phone then att would call it a go phone or a pay as you go phone!! Hope i helped!

I’d like to have a cell phone w/ web access (and not just the carriers site) but I don’t know how much I’ll use it so I’d like to start with a no-contract, pay-as-you-go phone and plot.
I’m in the USA (WI).
Internet access via WiFi when available would be a super-bonus, but I reckon that’s to much to hope for.
