Cell Phone Question???
o.k. so i’m going to get a new phone in august and i’m trying to find the best one from sprint. i am constantly dropping my phone and i pole tomb so it’s always in my spike bag, that results in COUNTLESS scratches and dings. would it be just too hideous to get one of the industrial phones (the “rugged ones”) by the way im a girl. oh and i live in the south so its VERY hot and my screen always messes up from the heat. my friend says that they are too hideous and should only be for construction workers! thanks!

Caught this trying to catch a rather rugged construction hand with a thick noo yoik accent contend with his wife on his cell phone while a cigarette dangled from his mouth.
contract is up looking at phones. i have the lg 8100 now. dont like it much. it just did not stand up like i need. did not do well in the mud, or in a 55gal drum of grease speakers crapped out on me, and the key pad keys started crapping out after just one year, reception started crapping out too. anyone have the G’zOne Type–S. want the excellent the terrible and the hideous. what i want is a phone that is rugged, sealed, keypad that doesnt wear out as quickly and a reasonably decent camera. there are some software options that i want too.

I just got one, and it’s pretty nice. I’m tough on cell phones, so I needed one that is rugged. The black one is much, much nicer looking in person than the blue one. The blue one is kind of shiny and unpleasant looking, but the black one is rubberized all around. It’s only available online, but it’s also cheaper online. Make sure you have a chat with one of the sales associates on the website, because they can find you discounts that aren’t in the supplies.
It can be underwater for 30 minutes. I like that the antenna is built in, kind of like a small handle…one less business to snap off and break!
The camera is decent. It’s got a nice bright flashlight built in. In general, the phone is not much for bells and whistles, but if you just want a excellent phone that will withstand abuse, it’s a fantastic choice.
