Will sending text messages from Yahoo messenger on my computer to cell phones cost me?

I don’t have a cell phone, but I have Verizon Yahoo messenger on my computer and broadband internet. My friend has unlimited text messaging on her cell phone but no internet on her computer. Is it free for us to chat with text? It will be free for her, because it is unlimited text. But will it cost me to send a text message from my computer to her cell phone? And will it cost me to recieve her messages? Also, how does she send a text message from her phone to my computer? Thanks for your help.

it should not cost her any extra if she is paying for unlimited text messsages. NO it should not cost you either. You pay an internet access fee on your computer. the only way it would cost is if you had to pay minute charges. She cannot send text to your computer unless she is on Messanger on her phone

No if she has unlimited, than no it wont cost her. And i am pretty sure you don’t have to pay anything either. About you receiving messages i am not sure, maybe someone else can give you a hand. Sorry!

Hello, I was wondering is there a way I can send text messages to my husband from my computer to his cell phone in India from the United States for free? I have tried Wadja.com but I think it is no longer free anymore. I have also tried through Yahoo IM but it seems to not work either way?
