what's the bad things about touch screen cell phones?

looking for a new cell phone. don’t know if touch screen is a excellent thought. i hear they are more fragile, easily hurt and therefore needs more protection. is this right? would you recommend to use buy cellphones with touch screen.

i have a touchscreen cell and they can crack but i drop mine ALLLLL THE TIME i even dropped it in water and it didnt break

I have the moto droid, so its a touch screen and a qwerty keyboard. the only business ive noticed about the touchscreen is that sometimes when it rains, and the screen gets wet, or even during periods of high humidity, it becomes unsympathetic. you just gotta make sure you wipe the screen down every once in a while, because your fingerprints can make the touchscreen less accurate.

i advise you to get a normal screen phone , not touch screen , it is hurt easily and may make problems to you , as it very sensitive

i was dead set against touch screen phones when i reluctantly accepted a sony ericsson vivaz for my upgrade, let me tell you accepting that phone was the best go i ever made !!!!

what network r u w/?? any HTC phone is nice…umm samsung has some kewl ones…oh, && they just got that freakin awesome blackberry storm phone thats probably really expensive…i havent looked yet though.

The Palm centro from sprint is a really excellent phone. It allows you to do alot of things you cant do with a fixed phone! and theres a touch screen and a full key board its pretty tight
